All American: Daniel Ezra reveals his pet peeve about fan encounters
He's quickly becoming a household name after being cast as rising NFL star Spencer James on Stan Exclusive series All American.
And British actor Daniel Ezra has revealed that while he loves interacting with fans, there is one downside of being famous.
Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, the 29-year-old said he doesn't like it when people just take out their phones and snap photos of him without asking.

'For me, the thing I always get the most weird about is if [fans] don't say anything and they just pull their phones out,' he said.

Daniel continued: 'If you're just standing next to me and the phone's there, I just freeze up. I'm so introverted, I don't know what to do.'

He hastened to add that one of the perks of fame is when younger fans mistake him for his character in All American.
'Most of the time it's fine, it's usually young children and it's really sweet. They think I'm the character in real life,' he said with a laugh.

With season three now streaming on Stan in Australia, Daniel said the show's global popularity came as a 'shock' to him.
'I always believed in its potential, but the fanfare that came with it was a shock. It was an amazing thing to see, and it took its time to build into this phenomenon it has become,' he said.
'For a lot of [the cast] it was our first big thing to be a part of. We were all relatively new to acting in some way or at least at this level, so we were all blown away by it.'
