Charity shop issues warning after getting wildly inappropriate donation
Sex toys have been donated to charity shop Barnardo's as volunteers launched a social media rant about receiving second hand X-rated goods.
Outraged workers at the children's charity Barnardo's in Swansea, South Wales couldn't believe their eyes as X-rated aids – both used and unused – flooded through after a recent donation. The scandalous scenes left Facebook users howling, with "Barnardildos" emerging as frontrunner in a bid for a rebrand to the charity, Wales Online reports.
"Could those of you who kindly donate please be mindful that we are a CHILDRENS CHARITY and as such we have a range of ages on our wonderful volunteer team," the charity wrote.

Other social media users issued advice and a word of warning for potential buyers: "If you really must can you give them a rinse beforehand?" Some started trolling their mates and started a trend of tagging friends in the comments, outing them for "donating their old sex toys".
Whilst donations of clothing, children's toys, unopened toiletries, home items and bric-a-brac are widely accepted by charity shops across the city, these adult items are not – especially those which have been used are unsuitable for donation.
The shocked volunteers continued: "We would like to remind you that the branch has CCTV so that these items can be traced back to their owners. Thank you."
A Barnardo's spokesperson added: "We're always hugely appreciative of donations from the community – but it’s fair to say that these items aren't quite the sorts of toys we’re looking for. This winter, frontline staff at Barnardo's will be helping struggling children and families across Wales by providing them with essential items like food and clothing.
"The money raised from our shops helps us to carry on this vital work – so please do donate any clothing or children's toys you can to your local Barnardo's store."
