Alabama football coach Nick Saban's daughter Kristen marries Adam Setas

Alabama's football season may not start for a few more months, but beloved coach Nick Saban hit the field Saturday night for a very special celebration - his daughter's wedding.

Kristen Saban said 'I do' to childhood sweetheart Adam Setas, celebrating their new union after with a reception at her dad's office, Bryant-Denny Stadium.

The grand affair had fireworks, hundreds of guests, and ended with the newlyweds driving off the field on a Rolls-Royce.

As for the wedding cake for the evening, it was a very traditional white with gold detailing and not at all similar to the groom's cake revealed early last month that featured Saban riding on an elephant across the football field holding a crystal trophy.

Saban, 24, and her new groom both attended Alabama, and Setas, 24, now works as a financial adviser for Merill Lynch in Birmingham.

They met in Michigan as preschoolers when Saban coached at Michigan State University.

Saban then took over the head coaching position at Alabama in 2007, where he has led the time to a very impressive three Crystal footballs,  separating the young friends.

The newlyweds reconnected when both decided to go to Alabama, but did not start dating until 2013.

Setas, whose parents own a produce company, played hockey while in college.

Saban previously made headlines when a fellow sorority sister filed a lawsuit against saying she had punched her repeatedly after a long night of drinking.

The suit was dropped earlier this year.
