Debora Kelly shot dead by husband who 'mistook her for an intruder'
The vice president of a prominent health firm was shot dead by her husband after he allegedly mistook her for an intruder.
Debora Kelly was gunned down in the early hours of Saturday morning at the home she shared with her husband in San Antonio.
The 48 year old was as an executive for National Surgical Healthcare for seven years and also served as CEO for South Texas Spine & Surgical Hospital.
According to police, her husband heard noises coming from the front of the house in the city's far north side and saw a flashlight, at around 4.15am.

An obituary posted online has named her husband as Lars Itzo, 48. He runs his own contracting business in their community.
He told police he believed someone was trying to break into his home and he saw someone standing in the distance, so he grabbed a gun and fired a single shot, which hit his wife in her upper body, according to KSAT.
Mrs Kelly, who was also the CEO of South Texas Spine & Surgical Hospital was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her husband has been interviewed by police, who are still investigating the shooting, but he has not been charged.

San Antonio Police Department spokesman Douglas Greene said: 'Our investigators are very particular on preserving the scene to bring together pieces of the puzzle and see if it lines up with the statements of the shooter.'
Neighbor Dale Hollorah told KSAT that the husband owned a contracting company. He added: '(I'm) just totally shocked. They have been married several years and seemed to be doing just fine.'I would see him outside, walk over and talk with him, just normal neighbors.'
Asked if he believes Ms Kelly's death was an accident, he added: 'At this point I say yes. She travels. She's in the medical world and I've talked to her recently.'
